Each monthly page has the following optional fields you can enter in your spreadsheet:

 Monthly Temperature and Rainfall Summary

When using the Rain Calendar, each time you enter a field, such as todays rainfall figures of the temperature of the day, the spreadsheet will automatically calculate the average rainfall, temperature for the month, and as well as that it will give you the hottest maximun and minimum temperature recorded so far for that month.

 Leap Year drop down box

The next Leap Year is in 2012, so if you are using this calendar in 2012, in the January field you would use the drop down box to change the calendar to a Leap Year. Annual Report Sheet
 
The Annual Report sheet has a variety of useful tools as follows:

Summary 1 lists the Annual Rainfall to date, so as you enter data in the spreadsheet, this is automatically updated, and at the end of the year you can view the overall Annual Rainfall data. If also gives you the total amount of rain you had for each month, and the and the monthly and daily average rainfall.
As well as the above, it gives you data on the wettest month and the driest month.

Summary 2 lists the hottest maximin and minimun temperature recorded for each month and also the average daily monthly maximin and minimum temperature.

Summary 3 gives you information on the highest barometric pressure recorded for the year, and the lowest barometric pressure recorded through the year

Summary 4

Summary 4 enables you to do calculations on certain weather events that have happened throughout the year and how many occured in the year, As follows:

Rainfall above the limit in year

Using this tool you can calculate the amount of days for example that had 1 or more millimetres of rainfall recorded or say for example below 5 millimetres and below, but you must use the “>” key for above or the ”<” key for below.

Wind Conditions

Enter one of your keywords to find out how many days wind conditions were “calm” or “windy” etc

Barometric Pressure

Using this tool you can calculate the amount of days for example that recorded above 1030 in barometric pressure or say for example above 1010 in barometric pressure and below, but you must use the “>” key for above or the ”<” key for below. Similar to the rainfall field above.

Cloud Conditions

Enter one of your keywords to find out how many days cloud conditions were “clear” or “cirrus” etc

Weather Events

Use the drop down box to find how many many days “Thunderstorms” occured or “Hailstorms occured” etc

Summary 5 enables you to use a drop down feature to find out what the weather conditions were on a certain date in the year, for example, you can find out what the weather was like on your Birthday, Christmas Day, or the day you started harvesting.

The Rainfall Chart

A simple rainfall graph, which gives you a detailed graph on the amount of rainfall recorded for each month in the year. You can view this graph as soon as you start entering your rainfall data in January. Once you start using this, it will be a great tool to look back on to compare rainfall statistics over the coming years.
